Following the assignment of the intellectual property to RAB, DIP supplements RAB’s resources and activities in delivering educational resources and programmes to a worldwide community of healthcare providers and their patients.
A new Organisational Structure was established, and a Steering Committee and Editorial Panel was convened.
Immediate priorities included:
- securing funds for the employment of essential personnel, especially a Research Officer
- reviewing and updating the pathways
- updating other content, especially that mandated by the reassignment of intellectual property to RAB
- reimplementing publishing standards and ensuring functionality of the website
- implementing the latest version of the Content Management System and importing the entire content to the new platform
